Information for Referees

Do you want to be a Ref?

Officiating soccer games is a great job for anyone that loves the game of soccer. It affords you the chance to earn good money and be around a game you love. O.F.S.A. offers great opportunities to kids to get entry-level refereeing experience in-house, and stay there if they so choose.

We also will work to develop the interested kids and eventually get them certified to officiate games for our travel leagues. This gives them the opportunity to make good money officiating games here at home, as well as be exposed to opportunities to ref elsewhere including the state league and tournaments. The kids are afforded the chance to take it as far as they want.  There are no minimum age requirements to become a referee.  We want them to be older than the kids they are officiating, and we want kids who are of a maturity level to handle it. We hope the parents would assess this and know where your child is at.
